I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Centre for Research Ethics and Bioethics (CRB) at Uppsala University, Sweden. I defended my PhD thesis on March 2021.

I am involved in the EU project ENLIGHTENme, which studies how urban lighting affects the population’s health and well-being, and in the EU project ONCOLOGICS, about personalised medicine.

In my PhD project I investigated perceptions, beliefs, preferences and moral views at the base of behaviour influencing antibiotic use and resistance.

My research interests fall into the broad areas of public health and bioethics. My investigation is both theoretical and empirical (qualitative and quantitative methods).

Before starting my PhD, in 2014-2015 I worked as research assistant at CRB on a research project about public understanding and media portrayal of synthetic biology.
